Purpose of the Platform

FireLotus provides free access to Buddhist educational materials associated with the teachings of Khenpo Sodargye and related lineage content. The Platform is for personal study and practice. It is not a substitute for qualified in-person guidance, medical advice, or professional counseling.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the Platform or other users.

Content and intellectual property

Course videos, texts, images, branding, and other materials on the Platform are protected by copyright and other laws. You may stream or download materials only as the Platform expressly allows for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, scrape, or commercially exploit Platform content without prior written permission from the rights holders.

Third-party embeds (such as YouTube) remain subject to those providers’ terms.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or unauthorizedly access the Platform, APIs, or other users’ accounts.
• Do not upload or transmit unlawful, harassing, or infringing material through contact or feedback channels.
• Do not misrepresent affiliation with FireLotus, Khenpo Sodargye, or related organizations.

Journeys and emails

Journey subscriptions, weekly emails, and related features are provided as described on the Platform. Availability and schedules may change. You can manage certain email preferences in your account settings where offered.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free content, or fitness for a particular purpose. Translations and technical presentations may contain mistakes; we welcome corrections via our contact channels.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FireLotus and its volunteers and operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Platform in the twelve months before the claim (which is typically zero, as the service is free) or (b) fifty US dollars.

Changes to the Platform and Terms

We may modify features or these Terms. Material updates to the Terms will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
